The All-Father
Ruler of Asgard, god of wisdom, poetry, and war. Sacrificed his eye at Mimir's well for infinite wisdom and hung from Yggdrasil for nine days to learn the secrets of the runes.

Thor
God of Thunder
Protector of Midgard (Earth), son of Odin. Wields the mighty hammer Mjölnir, which returns to his hand after thrown. Controls lightning and storms.

Freyja
Goddess of Love and War
Most beautiful of the goddesses, chooses half of fallen warriors for her hall Sessrúmnir. Master of seiðr magic. Weeps tears of gold.
Symbols: Brísingamen (necklace), cats, falcon cloak, chariot
Loki
The Trickster
Shape-shifting god of mischief, chaos, and fire. Causes endless trouble for the gods but also helps them with his cunning. Father of Fenrir and Jörmungandr.
Symbols: Fire, shapeshifting, mischief, bound to a rock until Ragnarök
Tyr
God of War and Justice
The bravest of the gods. Lost his right hand to the wolf Fenrir as a pledge of trust. God of law, honor, and heroic glory.
Symbols: Sword, shield, one hand, the rune Tiwaz
Heimdall
The Watchman
Guardian of Bifröst (the rainbow bridge). Needs less sleep than a bird, can see for 100 miles day or night, and hears grass grow. Will sound Gjallarhorn at Ragnarök.
